Paul has worked in the IT industry since 1985, when he took on his first role in operations for a large construction company. He started his career in telecoms in 1994 when he joined Telewest Communications as server platform manager. His security career started in 2000 when he ran the year 2000 compliance program and developed a strong interest in information security. After the success of this project, he established and ran a dedicated information security group before leaving to join Cable & Wireless in 2006. His current role is global in nature, and he is responsible for ensuring secure delivery of all IT services, managing risk and ensuring the secure delivery of the services that we run offshore from across Asia, Europe and the U.S.
