Richard Hunter is vice president and Gartner Fellow in Gartner's CIO Research Group Office of the CIO Research Team, where his recent work has focused on IT risk management and the business value of IT. Mr. Hunter is the author of the acclaimed books "World Without Secrets" (Wiley, New York, 2002) and "IT Risk" (with George Westerman, Harvard Business School Press, Boston, 2007). His next book for CIOs, on communicating the business value of IT, will be published by HBSP in 2009. He is in much demand as a speaker and advisor to CIOs.
