How does the government lead in order to increase the security level of critical infrastructure – an infrastructure which consists of agency owned and operated network computing and control systems, PLUS private, commercially operated facilities? Is it by example, or can the Federal agencies responsible regulate and define standards and approaches subject to mandates. In this session, we’ll present the key findings of the new CyberCzar’s report on the state of information security within the federal domain, and evaluate its impact on corporate America.
Key Issues:
  • What are the FISMA requirements and how might they change?
  • What are the trends observed in the new administration regarding cybersecurity?
  • Is there a real and present danger in cyberspace?
