Systems Architect, Chief Technology Office, Symcor, Inc.
With over 15 years of IT experience, Ed joined Symcor, a business processing services provider, 10 years ago at the company's inception. Prior to that, he worked for one of Canada's largest financial institutions. Ed has worked on a number of key strategic initiatives in his current role with the Chief Technology Office, the most recent being Symcor's Identity Federation strategy, and a Canadian industry-wide initiative to adopt a new clearing process based on check images, formally referred to as “Truncation and Electronic Check Presentment”. Prior to taking on his current enterprise architecture responsibilities, Ed worked as a Development Manager on several projects in Symcor's Financial Capture Application Development and Integration department.
