CEO, BiTKOO

Doron Grinstein co-founded BiTKOO after working at Disney for eight years. Before Disney Doron was president of a successful electrical engineering and construction company. Doron began writing software at age 12 and sold his first software product at age 14. His first project at Disney was the “Doron Security Component” which secures most of Disneyland’s applications since then. Security was always a fascinating subject for Doron and his passion for the past decade. When the Walt Disney Company was searching for a product that would address their extensive requirements, while still being interoperable with the various existing IDM components such as Active Directory, LDAP, SiteMinder, etc. Doron suggested that identity management and access control are much easier to solve than sophisticated video games or 3D animation. He asserted that “this is NOT rocket science”. He drew a picture of what the new engine for security should look like and the rest is history. Keystone was developed by Doron and a team of dedicated software engineers. Disney adopted Keystone as its enterprise-standard for authentication and fine-grained authorization and has enjoyed 100% uptime since 2004. Doron left Disney in 2006 to create BiTKOO with the team who originally developed Keystone. Disney graciously agreed to exclusively license Keystone to BiTKOO so that other companies can benefit from this technology. Since forming BiTKOO, Doron has continued to innovate with inventions such as Federated Authorization, Generic Temporal Database Access, Generic Audit Trail System, Generic Firewall Crossing Gateway and some other technologies that will be announced soon. Doron changed the iDM industry by spearheading the introduction of the first complete iDM solution that is available SaaS.
