Larry Magid
A syndicated technology columnist and broadcaster for more than two decades, Larry Magid is a regular contributor to CBS News, the New York Times and San Jose Mercury News. His technology reports can be heard on CBS and its affiliates throughout the United States, daily on KCBS in San Francisco and occasionally on CBS Evening News and local TV news stations. He served for 18 years as a syndicated columnist for the Los Angeles Times and has written numerous books on technology.

An Internet safety advocate, Larry is founder of SafeKids.com and SafeTeens.com and is co-director of ConnectSafely.org. He is the author the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s free booklets, Child Safety on the Information Highway and Teen Safety on the Information Highway and is on that organization’s board of directors.
