Dr. Alexander Scherdin is Senior Vice President IT Architecture and Quality Management at Deutsche Post AG. He is responsible for the overarching integrity of Deutsche Post´s IT systems landscape, i.e. ensuring a structured and flexible IT architecture as well as secure and high-quality IT systems. IT Architecture and Quality Management comprises Deutsche Post´s departments for business architecture, technical architecture, service design, IT security, IT quality management, SOPERA, and project services. 2004-2006 Alexander was Senior Professional Service Design responsible for defining and expanding the service portfolio of Deutsche Post.
Before joining Deutsche Post he worked as IT architecture consultant at McKinsey’s Business Technology Office. Alexander holds a Ph.D. in theoretical physics.
