Volker Hofmann
Volker Hofmann joined Deutsche Bank in 1989 and serves as COO of the GTO Personal and Corporate Banking IT/O Division since May 2005. This division is globally responsible for IT and Operations in Global Cash Management, Global Trade Finance, Trust and Securities Services, Personal Banking and Private Wealth Management. Within PCB IT/O he is responsible for the management and co-ordination of all organizational issues, such as business management, controls, communication, employee programs, and so on.
Further, in Germany, he assumes the role of the regional CIO co-ordinating all German GTO specific issues.
Prior to that, Volker was serving the Controlling Division, where his last role assumed global responsibility for DB Group’s Cost Controlling, Procure to Pay Program, and Business Area Controlling for Corporate Centre and Divisional Functions excluding GTO and HR. During his 15 years in Controlling he successfully managed the global roll out of the SAP System for all relevant Cost Accounting Modules implementing standardized methodologies covering ca. 90 % of DB Group’s Costs.
Volker earned the degree of business administration from the University of Frankfurt/Main. Prior to joining DB he served 1½ year Winkler’s Verlag (School Book Publisher) in Darmstadt within the Software and Product Calculation Department.
