Airport Return Transfers

A complimentary shuttle service is available for your return to Nice Airport. This service will run on Thursday from 12:00 -18:00. Buses will leave from the Hotel Martinez, Majestic Barriere,Carlton InterContinental, Sofitel Palais Stephanie (formerly Noga Hilton), La Grand and the Palais des Festivals.

Anyone residing in other hotels should bring their luggage to the Palais des Festivals for the start of Thursday’s sessions. All luggage should be deposited in the left luggage area, located in the marquee on the concourse of the Palais des Festivals. Please allow additional time before sessions for your luggage to be stored.

Please book your return transfer by end of day, Tuesday 6 November at the Local Information Desk in the registration area to avoid disappointment.

The ITxpo show floor in Cannes will be loaded with the very latest solutions from technology providers at the very leading edge of their fields. The focus is on problem-solving and the atmosphere is refreshingly low-hype.

The ITxpo floor will be open from 18:00 today, from 12:15 on Tuesday and Wednesday and 09:30 on Thursday. There will be a Drinks Receptions tonight, Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 18:00 giving you an opportunity to relax and network with fellow delegates after sessions close.

But that's not all. The event floor is also home to Face to Face Meetings (with the providers of your choice), and Marketplace Theatre Presentations during, breaks, lunches and the receptions.

Openings are available on a first come, first serve basis, so don’t delay in registering! Due to the high demand for these appointments, you may reserve up to three (3) One-on-Ones during Symposium/ITxpo 2007, each with a different analyst or consultant.

The bookings team is ready to help you book your meetings starting Sunday on level 0 of the Palais in the registration area. From Monday onwards the booking desk will be on level -1.

At 17:15 in Claude Debussy of Palais des Festivals, Mark McDonald will present the defining 2007.5 CIO Agenda Progress and Challenges. Mark will be talking about how CIOs are in transition ad they seek to build enterprise leverage from innovation, information and agility.

We are joined this week by over 3000 senior IT and business professionals providing you an excellent opportunity to make valuable new contacts. We encourage you to join up to two of our Symposium Communities, our role-based networking program, which includes a host of informal and facilitated networking activities to help you meet like-minded attendees.

With such a large choice of sessions and networking activities on site at the event, we also recommend you access the Agenda Builder facility to plan your time. Make sure to book early to attend One-on-One meetings with Gartner Analysts and leave time to visit the many solution providers on our ITxpo Showfloor.
