 By 2012, wireless networks will reach multi-gigabit speeds and wireless will be cheaper than wires for many applications. A new generation of databases and middleware will link networks of thousands of tiny wireless sensors and we’ll look back on the Apple iPhone as just the start of a user interface revolution.
