Theo van den Hurk has worked since the mid 1970s in financial industry/banking and as of 1985 he has worked in complex projects in the area of business, finance, risk compliance and IT. Theo is currently working on extending the BPM methodology capabilities, so that the operational leverage is extended further. Theo was the architect and designed and created the BPM capability. Theo’s background is in managing financial and operational risks, global applications architect and audit and compliance. Theo was a winner of the 1998 BT CIB IT Excellence Award in the Category ‘Understanding Risk’ and the 2007 IDS Scheer BPE Award in the Category ‘Business Process Design.’
