When looking at organizations implementing BPM, many different approaches can be observed. The focus might be on process documentation, in other cases on methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma, while others take it from the IT side, or just leave it to the training department to provide some knowledge building for those who are interested. Where do these different policies come from? Why do some managers welcome BPM as a key instrument to achieve excellent process performance, while others are so reluctant or maybe even refuse to implement it? And why are isolated initiatives accepted and even supported, without ever being seen as a real, concrete and overall management approach to improve the business?
In this Keynote Presentation Eddy will address key issues, supported by concrete examples of successful (and less successful) BPM implementations:
Key Issues:
  • Establishing top-down management participation and ownership
  • The BPM business case: what’s the ROI?
  • The appropriate use of process metrics
  • Establishing a real customer focus
  • Aligning all process related initiatives under one BPM umbrella
