IT is ever more integral to business processing and, as a result, availability and recovery service level requirements have increased drastically in the last 5 years. This presentation provides guidance for developing a comprehensive tier-based data availability and protection strategy, including assessing the pros and cons of alternative technology solutions at each of the tiers.
Key Issues:
  • How should enterprises develop a strategy and architecture to meet availability and recovery requirements?
  • What technologies will be critical for data protection and replication architectures, and what are their trade-offs?
