Fred Duball
Fred Duball is Director of the Service Management Organization for the Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA). The SMO manages the delivery of infrastructure services through innovative partnership with Northrop Grumman. Fred is responsible for implementing the SMO and hiring SMO staff, managing all aspects of the partnership, overseeing the infrastructure services the partnership will provide to customers, and growing and improving the partnership as it matures.
Fred's experience spans the aerospace, apparel, automotive, chemical, and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining VITA in 2004, Fred worked for Fruit of the Loom, Honeywell, IBM Global Services and Avaya, and performed numerous consulting assignments.
After joining VITA as an Enterprise Service Director for the Health and Human Resources Secretariat, he served as the Infrastructure PPEA Program manager. In this capacity, he led functional and technical teams during due diligence, statement of work development and the negotiations resulting in the partnership agreement with Northrop Grumman.
