 Fred Killeen currently serves as General Motors’ Chief Systems and Technology Officer, Information Systems and Services.
Killeen is responsible for the evaluation of emerging information technologies and the insertion of those technologies into the mainstream of GM’s systems and infrastructure. Killeen is also responsible for the systems development process and application architecture for the Information Systems and Services organization. He is currently leading the development of standardized architectural and program management processes for systems development that will form the foundation for standardized interaction with GM’s suppliers. GM’s joint work with the Software Engineering Institute in this area was the catalyst for initiating development of a CMMI model designed for acquiring organizations.
Before joining General Motors, Fred held a variety of engineering, technology, and leadership positions over his 16 years with Hewlett-Packard, eventually becoming the GM Account Executive for Hewlett-Packard Consulting.
