Harry Amsden was recently named Senior Vice President of Financial Operations for Tribune Corporate based in Chicago. Tribune Company is America’s largest employee-owned media company with revenues of over $5 billion.
As Vice President/Finance for Tribune Publishing, Harry’s responsibilities included overseeing the financial operations of Tribune’s newspapers and their web sites and over several areas of the company’s shared services. He has participated in several of Tribune’s offshore outsourcing projects and is currently working with Hewlett-Packard to centralize and outsource Tribune Publishing’s billing, credit and collections functions for its advertising customers.
