 Learn how The Carphone Warehouse is trialling Run Book Automation (RBA) technology to enable them to improve their IT processes that support their most critical business applications. Servers are now provisioned in minutes rather than days, applications are “flexed” based on business load and availability, performance, capacity and business continuity service levels are better addressed. They can also ensure that the IT processes supporting these requirements meet ITIL standards for change, asset and service level management. This should reduce IT operations costs and lead times to provision new services, reduce the cost of service desk support, guarantee audit trails and reporting metrics, and improve utilization and efficiency of IT equipment and operations staff throughout the IT life cycle. |
