There is much focus around the importance of emerging technologies and concepts. Improved business process and efficiency is dependent on these concepts. Organisations are trying to grow their business with reduced IT budgets making leverage of new technologies more critical. Viability in the coming decade is highly dependent on flexible and agile IT, traditional IT design and though process will not achieve desired future business outcomes. |
Key Issues:

- This will address key technology issues relevant to the infrastructure space including; alternate delivery models; green IT; environmental sustainability; virtualisation.
- Provide advice on the increased importance of these areas in tighter times, from a cross sector related point of view in light of financial crisis.
- Through primary research we will determine whether decisions have taken on greater or lesser impetus and why that is.
