Olaf Moon is currently Head of Government Hosting and Security for Macquarie Telecom. Based out of Canberra, his national role focuses on Macquarie’s secure hosting business, plus gateway, secure Internet, e-mail and other services for State and Federal Government agencies.
Prior to joining Macquarie, he spent 23 years in various segments of the IT industry including multi-nationals DEC, WANG, IBM plus Australian consulting and multimedia firms. In addition he was CIO for the ACT Government for three years.
His specialty areas of interest are broadband consulting, secure IT hosting services to government and electronic government.
