 Ken McGee is a VP and one of only 14 Research Fellows at Gartner. Mr. McGee has extensive experience helping clients deal with IT budgets, IT cost-saving efforts, and other financial and business-related matters pertaining to IT. He also focuses on issues challenging CEOs, CFOs and other senior executives in order to help clients determine the information and information technology solutions these leaders require to perform their jobs optimally. Additionally, Mr. McGee works with other CIO research team members to analyze emerging trends having the greatest impact on the IT industry. He has also authored the book "Heads Up," which analyzes how individuals and organizations can effectively use real-time information to achieve a competitive advantage. In his role as a Research Fellow, Mr. McGee serves as the managing editor, primary author and project manager responsible for creating "The Gartner Scenario," Gartner's annual report on the current state and future directions of the IT industry.
