Nigel Rayner covers ERP strategy, with a particular focus on financial management applications and how finance systems can improve the effectiveness of the finance function. He also covers ERP instance strategy and how analytics play a role in ERP. With a background in finance and business operations, he managed ERP and business applications in large multinational companies before spending more than 14 years in a variety of roles for ERP and financial application vendors. Coupled with more than 11 years at Gartner, his experience allows him to help senior IT and business leaders understand how to build an ERP strategy that supports the business strategy. He also advises CFOs and finance personnel on how to get the best out of their financial management systems.
