A BI competency center (BICC) needs to shift the focus of BI from technology to business application and value. The aim is to engage business users in multiple phases of a BI initiative – a challenge given the scope of resources to be managed and integrated. An overview of models and factors is shown for designing a BICC, with examples of successful implementations of case studies. |
