We're pleased to announce the general availability of Fiorano SOA™ 2007 SP3. This updated release includes the following new features and fixes:
» The Fiorano Dashboard – a web-based monitoring tool that provides information about the health and status of the Fiorano network. The Dashboard receives and displays alerts and events from Fiorano servers and services across the network, creating an effective, lightweight real-time monitoring tool.
» New Services – File Transmitter and Receiver. These sophisticated new services, built on top of the reliable JMS backbone that powers the Fiorano ESB, allow you to transmit arbitrary-length files across the network, proving a fault-tolerant alternative to common forms of file transfer, such as FTP.
» Enhanced document tracking – Document tracking can now be restricted to specific parts of a message. Users can now choose between one or more of the supported options including, Header, Application Context, Message Body, and Attachments
» Enhanced Error Handling at the Route level – Undelivered messages can now be sent to the error port of the source component. Since documents are now tracked by default for error destinations, errors are automatically stored in the database and can be viewed any time using the document tracking views.
» New Properties – The Priority, TTL, and Persistence properties are now supported on the output ports of components
In addition, this service pack includes several minor bug-fixes and additional enhancements.
