Don Browning joined Turner Broadcasting in 2000 assigned to be the Application Architect to the Orion project, a multi-year, multi-million dollar rewrite of an existing application that had run its course. During the past 6 years at Turner, Don has been involved in several key business initiatives including projects to deal with digital media and its corresponding metadata, track rights, licensing and financial details for Turner assets, and create and manage on air broadcast schedules for all of Turner Broadcasting’s domestic networks.
In Don’s current role as Principle Architect, he leads a team of architects, developers, and designers to build frameworks that enable developers to be more productive.
